An enemy my friend...

An enemy is now my friend.
Constantly I judged through misguided eyes.
A fool was I, though pride relinquished no admittance.
In recent I grew to understand my enemy.
Time passed, and I extended my hand in kind.
With only trivial quarrels my mind was at ease.
Curious still yet events to be unfolded.
My hand accepted, but yet do we speak...

The light and dark.

Dark's accusation:
Who pinched the sun from the sky,
And squeezed the clouds of rain?
Who wrestled the moon from the stars,
And made the night dark and plain?
Who pulled the meteors from the night,
And stole our wishes of peace and grain?
Who saw fit to douse the cold blue fires,
That filled the night sky and lit our way?
Lest ye feel forever pain and suffering,
Of thy horrible deed, sit whimpering.

Light's recant:
The sun has not gone from the sky,
And the clouds pour their rain.
Who could wrestle the moon from stars,
You are all mad, crazy, insane!
Never shall anyone take her meteors,
Their is plenty of food and grain.
They are sleeping the cold blue fires,
And will yet come back to light your way,
I say open your eyes now and see the light,
Follow me now, out of cave, into the bright.

Dark's recant:
This is no cave good sir you lie,
You trick us to follow you in pain.
Intending to lead us away, very far.
Leaving us in darkness, for shame.
Now do right and return the stars.
And the moon to it's rightful place.
Then leave us, you ghoulish scar,
We will find our way the same.
Now do as is told and leave us be
Back to our life as it should be.

Light's plee:
Very well, oh blind brothers of tar,
Stick to the foolish darkness plain.
And when you think to call me afar,
My response will be the same.
Come and follow me into the Star,
The light of heavens here hath came.
Open weary eyes and leave the dark,
And join in the warmth of heavens flame.
Lest you should be those that stay,
Don't be, dear brothers, walk with me.
