Do you remember the time we met? You were wearin' glasses then.
Now you have contacts, and I'm glad we're still friends,
Do you remember the time that we spent? We would make each other laugh in class.
Silly jokes, and funny faces, that time flew by too fast.
And do you remember, all those things that we said,
All that time I wondered, what was going on inside your head,
I used to poke fun at all the teachers, and make you feel at ease,
I was happy when I was with you and you were always smiling.
I wonder if you remember that day, when I took a chance, and you turned me away,
You didn't have much to say, but I was used to being turned down anyway.
Well I miss you, just a little bit today, but what I really miss the most,
Was how we felt back in those days, not caring, just laughing, feeling close,
I swear I saw it coming, when you sat next to me that day, with that look in your eyes.
And maybe somewhere in the future, I'll find that happiness one more time.

A Winter's Love.

I feel the winter wind flowing fast, nipping at my skin brushing past,
The snow falling all around, collecting on the trees, on the ground.
Icicles hang from rooftops twinkling, I stare at them thinking,
How beautiful winter is at night, when the stars are out shining bright.
The color of fresh snow is pure, unblemished, absolute, I'm sure.
But none of it compares to your rosy red cheeks, or your shivering smile,
And I know we have been out for what seems like a while.
I laugh a little bit at your willingness to freeze, and stay by my side.
So let's go and enjoy the winter from inside.
And enjoy you my bold desire and your beautiful body by the fire.

Love Is Easy

Love is easy, Life is what gets in the way,
Time and Money, Time is money, Time is frayed.
We look into eachother's eyes, seeing what can't be said,
The feelings we have that we for so long kept in our head.
We kept it all locked away, because life told us a lie,
Now after so long, truth comes in the blink of an eye.
True love needs no stepping stone, only a level playing field,
And I would level this entire world, if only for life to yield.
Yield us the life we've been wanting for so long,
Together forever dancing our dance, singing our songs.
Because for us love is easy, life is what gets in the way,
However it is time we make it a brand new day.
