50's Frame of mind.

I see these old pictures of people,
Ancient polaroids and kodaks,
I see it and I think of a time,
A time in which I've never existed,
Funny how familiar it is though,
To smell something new and unknown,
And be dizzied by a wave of nostalgia,
I see these old videos and I'm reminded,
Reminded of times when I was a child and yet,
Reminded of other times I've never seen,
Maybe I'm an old man inside,
Maybe I'll be a child when I'm old about to die,
Is it my past life, who knows what time,
But I'll enjoy it as long as I see the grass grow.
With a Cherry Coke, and a Marlboro,
I'll live in a 50's frame of mind.
